今日きょうは愛知あいち・名古屋なごやアジア大会たいかいです。Today, it’s the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

大会たいかいは9く月がつ19じゅうく日にちから10じゅう月がつ4よっ日かまで開かひらかれます。The Games will be held from September 19 to October 4.

45よんじゅうごの国くにと地域ちいきから約やく1万1千いちまんいっせん人にんの選手せんしゅが参加さんかします。About 11,000 athletes from 45 countries and regions will take part.

今回こんかいはいつものような大きなおおきな選手村せんしゅむらがありません。This time, there isn’t a large athletes’ village like usual.

選手せんしゅたちはホテルや船ふね、大会たいかいのために用意よういされた建物たてものなどに分かれわかれて泊まりとまります。The athletes will stay in different places, including hotels, ships, and buildings prepared for the Games.

特にとくに注目ちゅうもくされているのが大型おおがた客船きゃくせんコスタ・セレーナです。The large cruise ship Costa Serena is attracting particular attention.

約やく4千よんせん人にんの選手せんしゅや関係者かんけいしゃが泊まるとまる予定よていです。About 4,000 athletes and other people involved in the Games are expected to stay there.

船ふねの中なかには部屋へややレストランなどがあります。The ship has rooms, restaurants, and more.

海うみに浮かぶうかぶホテルのようですね。It’s like a hotel floating on the sea.
