〜かったです/〜くなかったです~katta desu / ~ku nakatta desu

Use 「〜かったです/〜くなかったです」 to describe a polite past impression with an い-adjective.

How it works

  2. If you remember the cake tasting good, say 「おいしかったです」. This expresses how you felt in the past.
