〜てくれない?~te kurenai?
casual request for help
Use 〜てくれない? with close friends to casually ask them to do something or help you.
How it works

Going to an open house alone can feel a little nerve-racking. Say this to ask a friend to come with you.

Although it contains 「ない」, this means “Could you help me?” It does not tell the other person not to go.

Put the action you want the other person to do in the て-form, then add 「くれない?」 to make a request.

This expression is casual and suits close friends. With people you do not know well, take care to be polite.

You can also use 「教えてくれない?」 to ask a friend to tell you about an event.
