〜よね~yo ne
seek agreement or confirmation
Use 〜よね when you already think something is true and want the other person to confirm or agree.
How it works

You remember an event is planned and want someone to confirm. Add 「よね」 at the end: “right?”

You can also share how you feel and invite agreement. Do the two people in the picture think alike?

With 「よね」, you usually already think something is true, then check whether the other person agrees.

If you have no idea whether there is an event, ask with 「か」. With 「よね」, you already have an idea of the answer.

The first sentence asks for confirmation of the event schedule. The second seeks agreement that taking part will be a good experience.
