Use 「〜といいです」 with a dictionary-form verb to gently suggest an action while leaving the choice to the listener.
In the course
How it works

Look at the visitors in the aquarium: it is busier in the afternoon, so suggest going in the morning.

「といいです」 gently suggests an action. The other person decides whether to take the advice.

Put the suggested action first: use the verb’s dictionary form, then add 「といいです」.

Even though the sentence ends with 「です」, the verb before it is still 「行く」, not 「行きます」.

Worried there may be no seats at the restaurant? Use 「予約するといいです」 to suggest making a reservation first.
